Biscoe, NC, vicinity of Bruton Street and cross streets. Landlords' residence is in Asheboro. [names and addresses removed]

We have made numerous complaints to the town of Biscoe and the Montgomery county health inspector. The complaints are several years old. The inspector does not seem interested in filing for condemnation of these properties.

Recently the town maintenance dept had to come turn the water hydrant hoses on to wash away raw sewage coming for one of the trailers because the building does not have running water. The sewage was running down a small stream and building up behind neighboring houses.

The town maint. came to shovel garbage and trash from another trailer. Other trailers have trash and garbage is thrown out the door. One trailer appears to have no lights or water yet it remains occupied.
There are several trailers in extremely poor conditions. Some without running water or lights. Problem of sewage, Trash around buildings.

The landlord re-rents a trailer as soon as a tenant moves without painting.

These landlords own another trailer park on Bruton Street which is also in disrepair. Town Mgmt says these buildings are not zoned as a trailer park so they cannot tell the landlord to move them.

We need help,
Sincerely, Bruton Street Block Assn.
